Installing a bathroom sink
Before starting it is important to consider the type of
basin to install.
-
A vanity unit or inset basin
A vanity unit provides extra storage space below the
sink, plus a counter top next to the sink.
-
A pedestal basin
The pedestal is hollow and conceals the pipework
supplying the system. It also adds support to the
basin.
-
A corner basin
A corner basin is a suitable addition to a small room.
The water supply and wastepipes can be connected
from either of the two adjacent walls. The pipework
can be easily concealed by boxing in the corner.
