Bathroom Sinks Design

Pedestal bathroom sinks feature sophisticated styling and large bowl areas. Many can enlarge a room visually and create a luxurious settings. Pedestal sinks make a good choice for a smaller bathroom or guest bath where storage is less important.
Countertop bathroom sinks, also known as drop-ins, fit into a variety of countertops. And thanks to their self-rimming nature, they're the simplest type of sink to install.
Undercounter bathroom sinks have a clean, distinctive look. They free up more space on the countertop and allow for creative faucet placement. And since there is no rim to catch soap and debris, they're also the easiest type of sink to keep clean.
Vessel bathroom sinks, versatile and stylish, rise above the countertop, console or cabinet to create a decorative focal point in any bath or powder room.
Wall-mount bathroom sinks have seen a rapid gain in popularity. In part because there are so many attractive and innovative designs available, and also because they're ideal for people with restricted movement.
Console bathroom sink is a table-like fixture supported by ornamental legs or brackets. It will give your bathroom a nice open, airy feel. You’ll also find you much more of the valuable counter space you need.

Installing a bathroom sink
Before starting it is important to consider the type of basin to install.

  • A vanity unit or inset basin
A vanity unit provides extra storage space below the sink, plus a counter top next to the sink.

  • A pedestal basin
The pedestal is hollow and conceals the pipework supplying the system. It also adds support to the basin.

  • A corner basin
A corner basin is a suitable addition to a small room. The water supply and wastepipes can be connected from either of the two adjacent walls. The pipework can be easily concealed by boxing in the corner. Read Article
